News Flash: Puppies and Babies are Cute

If you've been following me for the past few weeks here, at Participation Trophy, you know I'm a bit obsessed with showing off my kids and my dogs. The late-Millennial that I am, social media peacocking is as addictive as crack, and is salve to the wounds of late '90s high school ostracizing. We all wanted to be Buffy but we ended up being, I don't know, not.

So when Bulldogge Nation posted a photo contest on their Instagram page, I raised my hand. One more win for the nerd!

Bulldogge Nation is a company that produces natural and safe pet-friendly products like Miracle Balm, and also supports charities like K9s for Warriors. A no-joke good charity. BULLDOGGE NATION MODEL SEARCH is easy and quick. Here is my step-by-step:

• Found the contest through Instagram #contests

• Read over directions

• Took a picture and posted it with Hashtag #BDNMODELSEARCH

(Crazy cute, right? Especially how she looks like she wants to eat the baby for lunch) 

• Followed @bulldoggenation on Instagram (required for entry)

• I'll be checking back in on Monday, May 8th, 2017 to see if I've won the grand prize of a travel bowl and FULL SIZE TIN of Miracle Balm. 

Summary: Quick, easy and straightforward. I slightly cringe when companies make me follow them but on Social Media, it's easy enough to unfollow down the road. Much preferable to opening an entire account. The whole process took about 5 minutes. I'm also keen that it seems to be non-competitive and not based on "likes". I'm never a fan of "likes" contests. It's high school all over again.
