Esperanza Community Housing Corporation works to strengthen the social infrastructure of the Figueroa Corridor neighborhood of South Central Los Angeles by providing its residents with access to affordable housing and comprehensive supportive services. In line with Esperanza's belief in the restorative power of community action, they invited all users to participate in their "biggest hashtag event of the year" by creating an original branded hashtag to increase Esperanza's social media presence. 

The Rules: 

1. Hashtag catchphrase must be unique -- no copycats on the social intersphere
2. Submissions must be public and visible to Esperanza
3. Submit as many hashtags are you like from April 14 to May 31

The Prize:

The true reward is intrinsic, but to further incentivize participants, the winning "word smith" will receive two full admission tickets to Dancing Under the Stars 2017. Runner-up gets a $30.00 giftcard to Holbox, Mercado La Paloma's new restaurant.

Summary: The trickiest part was coming up with a hashtag that wasn't totally lame and didn't already exist on social media. All for a good cause, I give the contest a 5 out of 5.
